The cricketing world eagerly anticipates the T20 World Cup 2026, Team India is set to engage in a series of crucial T20I matches leading up to the prestigious tournament.

Kicking off the action, Indian Team will embark on the Tour of Bangladesh in August 2025, featuring a thrilling three-match T20 series on Bangladeshi soil. This series promises to be a strategic warm-up for the players as they prepare for the challenges ahead.

Following the Bangladesh series, attention turns to the Asia Cup 2025 in September, where Team India will compete in a total of 13 matches. The exact venues and schedule are yet to be finalized (TBD), but the competition is expected to be fierce among the Asian cricketing giants, providing Team India with invaluable experience ahead of the World Cup.

In October and November 2025, Team India will tour Australia for a series of five T20I matches. Playing on Australian pitches, known for their bounce and pace, this series will be a crucial test for the players, offering them the opportunity to adapt to conditions similar to those they may face at the World Cup.

Additionally, in January 2026, India Team will welcome New Zealand for a five-match T20I series, with crucial match-ups that will further hone their skills and team dynamics.

With the T20 World Cup expected to be held in February-March 2026, these matches will serve as the perfect platform for Team India to build momentum and confidence before competing for global glory.
