The year kicks off with the Sri Lanka Tour of New Zealand from December 2024 to January 2025. During this tour, the Sri Lanka Team will play a total of 6 matches including 3 T20 games and 3 ODIs. This series will take place in the beautiful atmosphere of New Zealand, providing a challenging environment for the players to showcase their skills.

Next, from January to February, Sri Lanka will host the Australia Tour of Sri Lanka 2025. This series will feature 2 Test matches and 1 ODI. Having the Australian team visiting will be significant, as they are one of the strongest teams in cricket. The matches will be held in the vibrant atmosphere of Sri Lankan cricket venues.
From February to March, the Sri Lanka Team will participate in the Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan, a major international tournament. This event will feature 15 matches involving various top cricketing nations.
