Indian team opener Shubman Gill scored a historic double century against New Zealand at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Gill scored 208 runs in just 149 balls with the help of 19 fours and 9 sixes. Shubman Gill’s innings helped India beat New Zealand by 12 runs in the first ODI to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

However, a strange incident took place during the first ODI between India and New Zealand. A video is going viral on social media, in which it is seen that Shubman Gill is coming towards the boundary and then some fans raise slogans of Sara…Sara…. Gill did not raise any fuss on this and started looking at his fielding by waving his hand towards the fans.

Let us inform you that Shubman Gill’s name has been linked to both Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara and Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan. However, it was never officially confirmed whether she is really in a relationship with Gill or not.

However, Gill made a series of records by scoring a double century. He became the fifth Indian and eighth batsman in the world to score a double century in ODI history. Gill became the youngest batsman in ODI history to score a double century.

With the help of Gill’s double century, India scored 349 runs losing 8 wickets in 50 overs on Wednesday. In response, the Kiwi team was all out for 337 runs in 49.2 overs. The Indian team is currently ahead 1-0 in the series. Now the second match of the series between the two countries will be played in Raipur on Saturday.
