The 5th Day of the 2nd Test between India and England at the iconic Lord’s stadium saw one of the most unique Cricketing incidents here on Monday, 16th August 2021.

Bumrah and Shami avoided the worries of loss in the 2nd test against England at Lord’s.  On the 5th day of the 2nd test against England, India lost Rishabh Pant early in the day. Bumrah and Shami survived the whole session and scored runs too with much higher strike rate.

Bumrah and Shami just batted nine balls in the second session of the day 5 at Lord’s against England.  Bumrah and Shami put on the partnership of 89 not out. This is the highest 9th wicket partnership by team India away from home.

The previous best partnership for India for the 9th wicket away from home was put on by Kiran More and Venkatapathy Raju against Australia at Melbourne in 1991. They added 77 runs for the 9th wicket.
