Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have suffered an important blow ahead of the IPL 2026 playoffs, with young England batter Jacob Bethell set to leave the tournament due to injury.

The talented top-order batter will return to England after sustaining a left finger injury during RCB’s league-stage clash against Punjab Kings on May 17.
