Team India head coach Rahul Dravid celebrated his 50th birthday with the team on Wednesday. The former Indian captain has played 164 Tests, 344 ODIs and one T20I match for Team India.
Dravid retired from international cricket in March 2012. He has scored 48 centuries in his international cricket career. Rahul Dravid was appointed as the head coach of Team India in November 2021, replacing Ravi Shastri.

It may be noted that India registered a four-wicket win over Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series, India have sealed the series. In the second match, brilliant batting from KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya gave India a chance to recover from the early jitters.
India won the second match by four wickets
KL Rahul scored an unbeaten 64 while Hardik played a knock of 36. Chamika Karunaratne and Lahiru Kumara took two wickets each. At the same time, the brilliant bowling of India’s spinner Kuldeep Yadav and fast bowler Mohammad Siraj bundled out Sri Lanka for just 215 runs.
Sri Lankan debutant Nuvanidu Fernando scored a half-century. Siraj and Kuldeep took three wickets each.
