SUN 12:45 AM, Nishant Dev, India’s boxing hopeful, is out of the Paris Olympics after losing his quarterfinal bout.


SAT 5:30 PM IST, Nam takes the set 6-4 and advances to the semifinals, ending India’s archery campaign at the Paris Games.


SAT 5:23 PM IST, Nam evens the score at 2-2. Nam’s heart rate is showing as she struggles with her shooting, but she manages a perfect 10. Deepika, on the other hand, follows a perfect 10 with a disappointing 6.


SAT 5:20 PM IST, Deepika takes the first set 2-0 against Nam. After a perfect first arrow, Nam faltered on her second and third, allowing Deepika to capitalize with calm shooting and win the set.


SAT 3:06 PM IST, South Korean Nam Su-hyeon defeated Madalina Amaistroaie 6-2, setting up a tough quarterfinal match against Deepika Kumari.


SAT 2:29 PM IST, Deepika Kumari’s quarterfinal match is scheduled for 5:09 PM. Her opponent will be the winner of the match between Madalina Amaistroaie (Romania) and Nam Su-hyeon (South Korea).


SAT 2:35 PM IST, The match goes to a shoot-off. Choirunisa hits a 9, leaving Bhajan needing a 9 to continue or a 10 to win. Unfortunately, Bhajan’s final arrow is an 8, giving Choirunisa the victory.


SAT 2:27 PM IST, Choirunisa starts Set 3 strong with a 9 and two 10s, while Bhajan scores two 9s and an 8. This gives Choirunisa a comfortable lead of 4-2.


SAT 2:20 PM IST, Deepika Kumari advances to the quarterfinals after defeating Michelle Kroppen of Germany. She will now face India’s Bhajan Kaur.


SAT 2:09 PM IST, Deepika starts Set 2 strong with a 10, while Kroppen has two 9s. They’re tied at 18 after two arrows. Both archers hit 9s on their third attempt, keeping the score level. Deepika then takes the lead 3-1.

SAT 12:52 PM IST, The Women’s 25m Pistol Final consists of five-shot series with a three-second interval between shots. Each shot earns one point if it lands within the scoring zone. After three series, eliminations begin. The lowest scoring shooter after each series from the fourth onward is eliminated until a winner is determined.
