THU 10:14 PM IST, Good news! Sindhu has closed the gap a little bit, bringing the score to 5-8. She’s been moving around the court really well, and those drop shots were clever. She’s showing some great court awareness and agility. Hopefully, she can keep building on this momentum!

THU 10:00 PM IST, This is going to be a tough but exciting match! PV Sindhu is facing a formidable opponent in He UnlimBot Jiao, the Chinese 6th seed. This is Sindhu’s first knockout match at the Paris Olympics, so the pressure is on. It’s going to be a battle of skill and strategy! I can’t wait to see how this match unfolds!

This is going to be a thrilling match – both players are in top form!

THU 5:38 PM IST, That’s a disappointing end for Satwik and Chirag. The Malaysians, Chia and Soh, played with incredible intensity and precision. The Indians fought hard, but they couldn’t quite overcome the challenge. It’s a tough loss, but they’ve shown great progress this season.

THU 4:44 PM IST, It’s a nail-biter so far! Satwik and Chirag are holding onto a slim lead after a hard-fought first half. The Malaysian pair is clearly a tough opponent, and it’s going to be a battle to the very end. Every point is crucial, and the Indians will need to maintain their focus to keep this lead.

THU 4:11 PM IST, This is really concerning. Anjum’s final prone score of 194/200 puts her in 21st place, and Sift’s score has her in 26th. They’re both in a tough position, and it’s going to be a massive uphill battle to make the final. It’s a very competitive field, and they’ll need to find their best shooting to have any chance of turning things around.

THU 4:03 PM IST, This is getting really tough for both Anjum and Sift. It looks like they’re both struggling to find their accuracy. Even if they shoot perfect scores from now until the end, it might not be enough. This is a very tight race, and they need a miracle to make the final.

THU 3:58 PM IST, This is getting very tense! Anjum’s 48/50 is still okay, but Sift’s 29/30 is a big worry. They’re both going to have to shoot lights out for the rest of this series. Every shot counts now. Let’s hope they can turn things around!

THU 3:38 PM IST, It’s not the start Anjum and Sift were hoping for. Anjum’s 97 in the first series is decent, but Sift’s 77/80 is definitely a cause for concern. They’ll need to find their rhythm and consistency quickly to climb back into contention for a top 8 spot. It’s still early, but pressure is mounting.

THU 3:30 PM IST, Okay, so here’s how the Women’s 50m rifle 3 positions qualifying works:

• Three Positions: Each shooter will take 20 shots in each of the three positions: kneeling, prone, and standing.

• Total Shots: That’s a total of 60 shots for the whole qualifying round.

• Scoring: Scores are in whole numbers, not decimals.

• Final Qualification: The top 8 shooters with the highest combined scores after 60 shots will advance to the final, which will be held tomorrow.

THU 3:04 PM IST, India lose to Belgium! India showed real improvement and played some of their best hockey in months, but Belgium’s penalty corner prowess proved too strong. Hendrickx was just unstoppable!

THU 3:00 PM IST, What a save by van Aubel! Harmanpreet’s shot was absolute rocket, but van Aubel reacted with incredible speed, lifting his stick just in time to block it. It’s a moment of brilliance, and the replay just highlights how impressive that save was.

India will be frustrated, but they’ll need to keep pushing for that equalizer.

THU 2:50 PM IST, Unfortunately, Nikhat Zareen’s Olympic journey has come to an end. Wu Yu put on a masterful display, using her defense and counter-punching to keep Nikhat off balance. While Nikhat tried to land her signature hooks, she seemed out of sync and couldn’t find her rhythm. This early exit is a shock, but we can’t forget the amazing journey she’s had so far.

THU 1:52 PM IST, [0- 0] the pressure is definitely on Belgium to break the deadlock in the second quarter. India’s defense has been solid so far, but they need to find a way to create more chances going forward. It will be interesting to see how both teams adjust their strategies in the second half!
