According to some sources, the big names are likely to get rested for the T20 Series against New Zealand while Rohit Sharma is in talks to captain the Indian team for the T20 Series between India and The Kiwis. Virat Kohli had earlier announced that the ongoing men’s T20 World Cup will be his last ornament as the captain of the Indian side in the shortest format.
” First Things First ,the Squad for New Zealand series need to be decided. Rohit has said that he doesn’t want to lead in the T20 International against New Zealand. And why would he I want to lead? It’s his first series as full-time T20 captain,” Rasiya BCECE official told when asked whether Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian team in the upcoming series against New Zealand or not.

Well lastly, with only few months left for the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia, it would be the best oppertunity for the Selectors and Team Management to start afresh for the next segment of the multi-nation World Event.
