1) Sachin Tendulkar Retiring From International Cricket:

 

The man, the myth, the legend! Sachin Tendulkar ruled world cricket for more than two decades with his spectacular batting. To further discuss all the frenzy behind him, the Master Blaster broke the heart of the nation when he walked out to the pitch and touched it for a final time with tears in his eyes. His farewell speech manage to make each and every cricket lover emotions.

2) Steve Smith Giving A Tribute To Phil Hughes:

 

The tragic demise of Phil Hughes manage to shock the world. The Aussie cricketers were severely impacted by this as the first Test between India and Australia back then was even postponed. That wasn’t it as the Aussie batsman Steve Smith paid an emotional tribute to fallen teammate Phillip Hughes in the first Test of the Border-Gavasker Trophy in 2014 after bringing up a century on day two of the first Test against India in Adelaide. Steve Smith took off his helmet and began walking towards the boundary rope, strolling all the way to where a giant ‘408’ was painted on the grass in memory of Hughes, who was the 408th man to play Test cricket for Australia. There were various emotional sights visible everywhere. Mentally tough players like Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh were in tears, Sachin Tendulkar lifting the Indian flag. It was one of the most emotional moments in the history of cricket. This was yet day when every Indian cricket fan saw their champions in tears following the triumph.

4) South Africa’s Exit in 2015 World Cup:

 

South Africa were unlucky once again as they were knocked out of 2015 World Cup in the semis. Grant Elliot, after being dropped by JP Duminy played an amazing knock and struck a six in the final over of the match. This resulted in all the Proteas players getting emotional and all of them were in tears as fate continued to toy with their side in the World Cup semi-finals.

5) Sangakkara and Jayawardene retiring from T20Is:

 

Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene are absolute legends of the game. It is safe to say that they have been one of the greatest players to have played for the island nation. Sri Lanka came close to winning an ICC tropy several times since the last 10 odd years but failed to do so. They kept on coming close and kept getting knocked out in various knockout matches. After a long wait, Sri Lanka finally won an ICC Tournament after more than a decade as they went on to win the T20 World Cup in 2014. That also happened to be Sanga and Mahela’s last T20I World Cup as they were retiring from T20Is post the 2014 T20 World Cup. Thus, watching them lift the cup made everyone emotional
