Chennai Super Kings (CSK) emerged as champions for the fifth time in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) by defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) in the final. On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) made it to the playoffs. However, LSG’s captain, KL Rahul, couldn’t play the entire season due to injury and was sidelined from IPL.
KL Rahul joined the Lucknow team in the year 2022 and previously, he played for the Punjab Kings. Now, news is surfacing about a fallout between KL Rahul and the owners of the Lucknow team, and it is speculated that KL Rahul might leave the Lucknow team.
Under the captaincy of KL Rahul, the performance of Lucknow Super Giants has been impressive in the past two years. In the year 2022, their debut IPL season, Lucknow team secured the fourth position under KL Rahul’s leadership. Similarly, in IPL 2023 the Lucknow team finished in fourth place.
However, despite this, things aren’t going well between the owners of the Lucknow team and captain KL Rahul, and according to media reports, KL Rahul might soon part ways with the Lucknow Super Giants.

KL Rahul is one of the most expensive players in the IPL, and he made his debut in the IPL representing the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. After that, he was recruited by the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Subsequently, KL Rahul became a star player and was appointed as the captain of the Punjab Kings.
However, if KL Rahul decides to leave the Lucknow team, he could potentially play for the five-time champion team, the Chennai Super Kings. Media reports suggest that the Chennai management has approached KL Rahul multiple times to join their team.
