Team India ended 2022 in a grand manner by winning the last Test match against Bangladesh. Talking about 2023, this year is going to be even more special than last year.
For the first time, the final match of World Cup to Asia Cup and World Test Championship is to be played in India’s hosting this year.
Team India would like to do better than last year in 2023 as last year was not good for the team. From the defeat in the semi-finals in the T20I World Cup to not reaching the finals of the Asia Cup, Team India would definitely like to complete it this year.
After the failure in the T20I World Cup, the team management is considering split captaincy and it is believed that Hardik Pandya will lead the team in T20I, starting with the series against Sri Lanka at the beginning of the year.
In the 3-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, where Hardik Pandya is leading the team, Suryakumar Yadav has been made the vice-captain for the first time.
The year 2023 is going to be special for Team India in many ways. This year, where there is a chance to end the drought of the ODI World Cup, while taking lessons from the mistakes of the previous season, the team would also like to win the World Test Championship title.
