In preparation for this monumental tournament, the first batch of Team India landed in New York on Monday morning. The squad, including key players such as skipper Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Suryakumar Yadav, and Rishabh Pant, departed from Mumbai on Saturday night.

They were accompanied by all-rounders Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, and spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel. Traveling reserves Shubman Gill and Khaleel Ahmed also joined the contingent, ensuring a strong and versatile team presence.
