Following their tour of Bangladesh being postponed to 2026, India currently has no scheduled matches in August. The team’s next major assignment will be the 2025 Asia Cup, scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 9th to 28th, 2025. This tournament will feature T20Is and serve as a crucial preparatory event ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026.

In Test cricket, India will engage in a home series against the West Indies and South Africa, each comprising two matches. Between these red-ball fixtures, the team will travel to Australia for a series of ODIs and T20Is, keeping their focus sharp in all formats. The schedule also includes high-profile bilateral series and the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026, scheduled for February to March 2026. The tournament will feature 4-9 T20Is, with India aiming to defend their title on UAE’s soil.
