The International Cricket Council on Tuesday announced that No-Balls will be monitored by the 3rd Umpires during the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup to be played in Australia from 21st February to 8th March.

Prior to this event it has been implemented by the ICC twice, one in December 2019 during the India vs WI ODI Series where it was at 100% accuracy rate with 4717 balls tested and in 2016 England vs Pakistan series. As of now it had yield the perfect results. In the coming IPL Season BCCI will also be using this technology. Last year in the IPL a lot of eyebrows were raised regarding the No-Ball errors which affected multiple matches. So the cricket fans should expect this technology to be completely used like DRS(Decision Review System) in the near future. And bringing it into Women’s Cricket will be a great motivation for all the women cricketers as ICC is not baised with them.
