Former India cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Mohammad Kaif have shared their thoughts for the World Test Championship final between India and Australia. Harbhajan Singh called Ishan Kishan the X factor instead of KS Bharat. At the same time, he gave place to two spinners in his team.
Talking in a special program of Star Sports, Harbhajan Singh and Kaif named their playing XI. Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh answers what the bowling attack should be like for the World Test Championship final.
He said, “It all depends on what the pitch is saying, if the pitch has less grass and the sun has come out, then two spinners will be a better option. If not, then three fast bowlers along with Shardul and Ravindra Jadeja. Thakur who will not only bowl but also contribute with the bat.”
Former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif said, “Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma will be the openers for the World Test Championship. Then there is the experienced Pujara at number three. Virat Kohli will be at number four and then Rahane. I will keep either Ashwin or Shardul depending on the condition of the pitch and the pitch. Ashwin suits the spin, because he can dismiss left-handers like Warner, Travis Head and Khawaja.”
