Now the name of Indian team’s experienced wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik has also been added to this list. Dinesh Karthik told through social media that which 11 players of India he wants to see in action in Nagpur Test.
Dinesh Karthik, while selecting India’s playing 11 for the Nagpur Test, handed over the responsibility of opening to Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul. It is worth noting here that Shubman Gill was termed by most of the experts as a suitable partner for Rohit Sharma, but Karthik does not agree with this. Karthik is confident that KL Rahul will be successful with Rohit in the opening.
The wicket-keeper batsman has expressed confidence in Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav and KS Bharat in the middle order. According to Karthik, in the absence of Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav can trouble the Australian bowlers with his 360-degree shots.
If Surya gets a chance, it will be his Test debut. Karthik termed KS Bharat as suitable for wicketkeeping. This means that Ishan Kishan will have to wait for his chance.

Dinesh Karthik has included three spinners and two fast bowlers in his playing 11 as expected. In spinners, Karthik has expressed confidence in Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Akshar Patel.
Jadeja and Patel have similar bowling styles to a great extent, but Karthik still prefers to go with this combination. This means Kuldeep will have to wait for his chance. At the same time, Karthik’s choice among fast bowlers is the pair of Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj. Both the fast bowlers are known to take wickets in any conditions.
