Australia’s Alyssa Healy was signed by UP Warriorz for Rs 70 lakh at the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction which means the UP Warriorz captain will be earning 70 lakhs in the first season of WPL. Healy is one of the most destructive openers in women’s cricket and she has managed to score 2355 runs in 137 T20Is at a strike rate of 128.26, with one hundred and 13 fifties. Healy has played for the Sydney Sixers in the Women’s Big Bash League.
4. Gujarat Giants – Beth Mooney
Beth Mooney was bought by the Gujarat Giants for 2 Crores. Mooney will be leading the Gujarat side in the inaugural WPL season. Mooney has an amazing record in T20Is, having scored 2350 runs in 83 matches at a stellar average of 40.51 and a strike rate of 124.60. Beth has hit two international hundreds in the T20 format and 18 fifties.
3. Delhi Capitals – Meg Lanning
One of the most successful cricketers and captain of all time, Lanning has been a part of 7 World Cup-winning campaigns with Australia – two ODI and five T20 World Cups and will be leading Delhi Capitals in the inaugural season of WPL.. she has scored more than 3,000 runs in T20 cricket with two hundred and 15 fifties. Meg will be earning 11 million rupees in her first WPL season for Delhi.
2. Mumbai Indians – Harmanpreet Kaur
Indian captain Harmanpreet was signed by Mumbai Indians for Rs 1.80 crore in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) Auction. The star all-rounder was the second player to be signed in the auction after Smriti Mandhana. The 33-year-old is India’s leading woman cricketer in the T20I format and is the fourth leading-run scorer in women’s T20Is with 2956 runs in 147 matches.

India’s left-handed opener Smriti Mandhana will be earning the highest amount of Rs 3.4 crores from RCB in the first season of the WPL. Mandhana will be leading the Bangalore side and will also play a crucial role as an opening batter.
