News agency PTI quoted sources in the Asian Cricket Council as saying that on June 13, an official announcement will be made by the council on the hybrid model of the tournament, in which the organization of the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka with Pakistan will be formally approved. . The tournament is likely to be held in September.
According to reports, Pakistan had proposed to hold 4 matches of the Asia Cup at its home, which is certain to be approved. These matches will be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. There will be matches of Pakistan-Nepal, Afghanistan-Sri Lanka, Bangladesh-Afghanistan and Sri Lanka-Bangladesh.
