Kane Williamson and Virat Kohli didn’t play as former is injured, and later doing the same as team was in a comfortable zone. New Zealand Spokesperson said that “Williamson was ruled out with an injury to the AC joint in his left shoulder”. Williamson suffered the injury while diving in the field during the third game in Hamilton. Williamson will recover soon, and will play in the One Day Internationals series. The two pillars of Fab Four sitting and chilling out on the ground was a great scene for Cricket Fans. This gesture by the Captains gets the Spirit of Cricket going as ICC appreciates it too.

Virat, the aggressive one, of both the players has been awarded the 2019 ICC Spirit of Cricket. This honor for him was because of his great gesture at a World Cup Game against the Australians. He asked the booing audience to rather support Steven Smith on June 9, 2019 at The Oval. The Kiwi Captain requires no reason to be called the benevolent leader of the Gentlemen’sย  Game.

Talking to the host broadcaster Virat couldn’t stop himself from praising the Kiwi Counterpart. “Very similar mindsets, very similar philosophies. He’s just a really nice guy, and we got along well, we’ve known each other for a while. It’s amazing to know that in different parts of the world you are thinking the same things, talking the same language and heading in the right direction,” Kohli told the broadcaster after the match. “Although the scoreline looks very different for New Zealand, I truly believe that New Zealand cricket is in the best hands with Kane. He is the right guy to lead this team, and lay out that vision for them which he has in the past as well.”
