Hi IPL Fans!! Here is some fascinating news for all of you, as per the latest reports emerging from BCCI Officials with regards to TOI, we have got the update that IPL-2021 is set to resume from 15th September and will run on till 15th October. Well that doesn’t means that the reminder of the tournament will run from Septermber-15 up to October-15 but that’s the window BCCI have managed to host the remainder of IPL-2021. Well another big question arrives here that where it will be hosted? So we have got the answer for that as well, IPL-2021 is set to be hosted in UAE, the venue which successfully hosted and IPL-2020 6 months ago.

BCCI to request ECB for trimming the Test Series Schedule
Reportedly, BCCI Officials are also in talk with ECB to either prepone the test series which looks unlikely given the have to host the inaugural edition of ‘THE HUNDRED’ and also the county championship is underway so keeping that in mind, BCCI might also request to trim the gap between 2nd and 3rd Test to 4 days instead of 9-day, so that gives BCCI an extra window of 5-days to get their players prepare for the remainder of IPL-2021.However if both the request get turned down, still this window is secured completely.
ICC T20 World Cup set to remain in India for now
Talking about the prospect of hosting the ICC T20 World, the official were loud and clear that the Global Event, still set to be hosted in India, given the fear of 3rd wave of COVID-19, but with most of the vaccination already started in full mode, one can remain optimistic about the same. But it is a clear message as well that if India doesn’t responds well to COVID-19, then UAE looks all set to host the ICC T20 World Cup as well.
