The ICC Champions Trophy awaits New Zealand with three crucial group-stage matches. The Kiwis will square off against Pakistan on February 19, followed by encounters with Bangladesh on February 24 and India on March 9. This tournament will be key for New Zealand as they seek to secure their place in the knockout stages and vie for the championship title.

After the Champions Trophy, the cricketing calendar heats up with Pakistan’s tour of New Zealand, which includes an extensive series of five T20s and three ODIs. The matches will begin on March 16, 2025, and will conclude on April 5, 2025. This series is expected to be a thrilling contest between two competitive sides, further enhancing New Zealand’s home advantage.

In July 2025, Zimbabwe will host a Tri-Series featuring four T20 matches, followed by the New Zealand Tour of Zimbabwe, which includes two Tests and three ODIs, extending from late July into early August.

As the cricket calendar transitions to October, Australia will visit New Zealand for three T20 matches, coinciding with the England Tour of New Zealand, which consists of three ODIs and three T20s. This busy period will lead into November and December, when the West Indies will undertake a comprehensive tour of New Zealand, playing two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20s.

Looking ahead to early 2026, New Zealand will tour India for three ODIs and five T20s in January, marking an exciting chapter for Team India. Following this, in February 2026, New Zealand will travel to Afghanistan for a series of three T20 matches. In April 2026, Afghanistan will tour Bangladesh to square off in three ODIs and three T20 matches. Moreover, New Zealand will also visit Ireland for a single Test match.

As we progress into June 2026, New Zealand will return to England for a challenging series of three Tests. Throughout this period, Team India will be particularly focused on their prospect against New Zealand, making the January series a highlight in their cricket calendar and an important stage for the players to showcase their skills on home turf.
