YouGov Sports did the evaluation for the season played in Doha
Legends League Cricket announced that the recent LLC Masters season played in Doha, Qatar has delivered a value of INR 639 crore which is 50% more than the last season played in Muscat, Oman. The title sponsor Skyexch.net received ROI of 38X, according to YouGov Sports report.
The matches for the LLC Masters 2023 were telecast live on 9 channels of Star Sports Network, along with streaming live on Disney Hotstar and FanCode. The humongous response to LLC Masters season 2, made the T20 series the most successful season for Legends League Cricket, as the cumulative global footprint through TV, digital-social space and traditional media outlets was 1.48 billion.
With the average TV rating (TVR) of 0.38 for the season (which had 8 matches) LLC Masters season 2 in Doha is the 2nd most watched International T20 league (other than IPL) being watched in India. The 10-day tournament was held between March 10 to March 20, 2023. According to the YouGov report, Legends League Cricket delivered an ROI of INR 445 crore in the season played at Doha. World Giants, Asia Lions and India Maharajas delivered an ROI of INR 58.24 crore, 74.64 crore and 61.76 crore respectively.
The report further highlighted that television contributed maximum value accounting for INR 565 crore approx., over-the top platforms was at INR 94.8 crore, and the rest of the value came from press coverage and social media.
