According to the information given by the BCCI, Ishan Kishan has got an entry in the team in place of KL Rahul. Whereas Mukesh Kumar, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Suryakumar Yadav have been selected as standbys. Significantly, during a match in IPL 2023, Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul was injured and ruled out of the entire tournament. There was news of an injury to his thigh. After this, he also withdrew his name from the final of the World Test Championship.
