When Harshal Patel of RCB came for bowling, Jaydev Unadkat and Mark Wood were in front. It seemed that with three wickets in hand, the Lucknow team would easily win the match.

Lucknow needed one run from two balls and had two wickets. Harshal got Jaydev Unadkat caught by captain Faf Duplessis on the fifth ball. Now one run was required from one ball. If runs are not scored or wickets fall, then the match becomes a tie.

In such a situation, the match would have been decided by the super over. Avesh Khan could not play Harshal’s ball, but he somehow completed one run. Lucknow got one run as a bye and won the match by one wicket.

When the Lucknow team won, all its players ran towards the field from the dugout. Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi celebrated fiercely. After this, when the players and staff of both the teams were shaking hands with each other, Kohli fell in front of Gambhir.
