The Women’s Premier League 2023 (WPL Auction 2023) auction concluded on 13 February at the Jio World Center convention in Mumbai. A total of 59 crore 50 lakh rupees were spent in this auction, out of which Mumbai Indians and UP Warriors spent all their purse money on buying players.
Let us tell you that Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals and RCB included a total of 18 players in their team, while Mumbai Indians included 17 players, while UP Warriors included 16 players in their camp.
The costliest Indian team opener in the auction was Smriti Mandhana, who was roped in by RCB with a high bid of Rs 3.40 crore.
