West Indies and India are set to play their second Test match in Trinidad on July 20th. Both teams have arrived in Trinidad for the match, which marks Rohit Sharma’s 100th Test match. In a press conference on this occasion, Indian team captain Rohit Sharma said, “This doesn’t happen every day. It’s a big deal.” He also made a significant statement about giving Ishan Kishan more opportunities.
In the two-match Test series, India has already taken a 1-0 lead. The second Test match will be held in Port of Spain, West Indies. In the first Test, Team India showed remarkable performance. Yashasvi Jaiswal and captain Rohit Sharma played century-making innings in the batting department, while Ravichandran Ashwin’s bowling was exceptional.
Before the second Test match, Indian captain Rohit Sharma addressed the press conference. He stated, “There won’t be any changes in the team, but considering the expected rain, decisions will be made based on the conditions.” Rohit praised Yashasvi Jaiswal’s performance, saying, “There is a transformation happening in the Indian team. Young players are taking responsibility. These young players are the future of Indian cricket, and they will take the team to new heights.”

Rohit Sharma also praised Ishan Kishan’s talent, saying, “Ishan Kishan has a lot of potential. He has quickly secured his place in the team. Recently, he scored a double century in the ODI format. We need to utilize his talent more. He is a left-handed batsman and plays aggressive cricket, and his wicketkeeping has been impressive.”
