India’s veteran cricketer Virat Kohli is scoring runs in the 16th season of IPL. He has scored 364 runs in nine innings of nine matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). During this, Kohli has scored five half-centuries.
Born in Delhi, Virat learned cricket from Rajkumar Sharma in his childhood. After that he achieved success through hard work. RCB’s next match is with Delhi Capitals. This match will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Before the match, RCB shared a video related to Kohli.
In the video posted by RCB, people who know Kohli have shared some stories about him. Virat wanted to become a cricketer since childhood. He wanted to play for the Indian team and marry a heroine. In the video shared by RCB, Virat’s friend Shalaj’s mother made several revelations about him.
Regarding Kohli, his friend’s mother Shalaj told, “My son and Virat used to go to Rajkumar Sharma’s cricket academy to learn cricket. Then I used to cook food and give it to both of them. Kohli liked the food prepared by me. The match was being played at Bar Madan Cricket Academy, there was an advertisement poster. Then Kohli saw that poster and said that one day I will become a big man and marry a heroine.Â
She said, “I saw Virat for the first time in Rajkumar Sharma sir’s academy. She used to cook food everyday, he used to tell me in advance what to make and bring. When I used to bring food, he used to take it first.”

In a video shared by RCB, his childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma spoke about Virat and how he was as a kid. Rajkumar Sharma said, “On May 13, 1998, he had come with his father and brother. Within a few days, we came to know that he has a special talent. He was very mischievous and active, he wanted to do everything. He was working hard from the beginning, he had a lot of confidence.”
