The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 is set to take place from September 29 to October 26, 2025. Currently, five nations—Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sri Lanka—have secured their spots in this prestigious tournament, alongside the host nation, India.

The final two teams will be determined during the Women’s World Cup Qualifiers scheduled in Lahore from April 9-19, 2025. Should Pakistan qualify, a hybrid model will be employed, incorporating the UAE and Sri Lanka as additional venues for matches featuring the Pakistani team.
The Women’s World Cup 2025 will be hosted across five venues in India, showcasing the country’s commitment to women’s cricket. The final of the Women’s ODI World Cup will take place at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, located on the outskirts of Chandigarh.

Despite having a capacity of 38,000 and hosting IPL matches, Mullanpur is yet to host its first international game, making this event a landmark occasion for the stadium.

In addition to Mullanpur, matches will be held in Guwahati, Visakhapatnam, Thiruvananthapuram, and Indore. Notably, while Thiruvananthapuram (and Raipur) has not previously hosted any women’s international matches, Indore has a bit of history, having staged a couple of women’s ODIs at the Nehru Stadium, including one in the 1997 World Cup.
Upcoming matches will take place at the Holkar Stadium in Indore, marking its first occasion into hosting women’s ODIs.
