The India U-19 team finished their tour of Australia with an amazing 5-0 clean sweep, winning every game against the Australian juniors. They won all three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and both Youth Tests, proving they are a very strong team with great talent in both batting and bowling.

ODI Series: The 3-0 White-wash

The tour started with three easy wins in the Youth ODI series in Brisbane, showing India’s power in the shorter format.

1st ODI: In this match, India batting second, easily chased down 226 to win by 7 wickets. Wicketkeeper Abhigyan Kundu (87*) and Vedant Trivedi (61*) guided the chase with great partnership.

U-19

2nd ODI: In a high-scoring match, India U-19 scored 300 runs first. Although Australia’s Jayden Draper hit a brilliant, fast century (107 off 72 balls), but the Australian team couldn’t reach the target. Captain Ayush Mhatre took 3/27 to help India win by 51 runs and secure the series early.

3rd ODI: India U-19 finished the ODI sweep with a huge 167-run victory in this game. Their bowlers, led by Khilan Patel (4/26), bowled out Australia cheaply, showing India’s complete dominance and clean sweeped Kangaroos.

Youth Test Series: The 2-0 Triumph

India then showed their control in the longer format, winning both Youth Tests.

1st Youth Test: India started their Test campaign with the same rhythm they left with ODI format. India won this first test by an innings and 58 runs in Brisbane. The match was decided by big centuries from Vedant Trivedi (140) and the young star Vaibhav Suryavanshi (113). The pace bowler Deepesh Devendran was excellent, he took 8 wickets in this match.

2nd Youth Test: The tour ended with a final 7-wicket victory in Mackay. Bowler Henil Patel was the star of this match, taking 3 wickets in both of Australia’s innings (3/21 and 3/23). India easily chased the small target of 81 and this match ended this just 2-days and India U-19 perfectly sweeped Australia U-19 by 5-0 in this tour.
