Actually, according to the report of ESPNcricinfo, the auction will be held in February for the Women’s IPL (Women IPL 2023).
In the documents sent to the Indian players, the BCCI has asked both capped and uncapped cricketers to register online to be entered in the player auction register. Please tell that its deadline has been kept on January 26 at 5 pm.
Know how much will be the base price of capped and uncapped players –
If we tell you that in the auction for women’s IPL, the base price of capped players has been divided into 3 categories. This includes Rs 50, 40 and 30 lakhs. If we talk about the base price of uncapped players, then it has been kept at Rs 20 and 10 lakh.
As per the current IPL protocol, 5 franchises will be shortlisted in the auction register. This is so that the auction list can be prepared, which will then be put up for bidding. Also, let us tell you that the players who will not be able to bid in the auction, but will be present in the ‘Registered Available Players Pool’, can be selected as replacements.
