The upcoming Asia Cup faced uncertainties following the May 2025 India-Pakistan armed conflict, but the tournament has been given the green light and is set to run from September 9 to 28 in the UAE, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi as host cities. Though India are the official hosts, all matches will be played across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

This decision aligns with the hybrid model between the BCCI and PCB, ensuring India-Pakistan encounters occur at neutral venues. India have been placed alongside Pakistan in Group A and could face each other up to three times during the tournament. Their campaign begins against the United Arab Emirates on September 10.
