The cricketing world is abuzz with anticipation as the South Africa national cricket team prepares to tour England for a thrilling white-ball series in September 2025. This highly anticipated tour, which marks the end of England’s home summer season, will feature three One Day Internationals (ODIs) followed by three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). 

The history between England and South Africa on the cricket field is rich and competitive. Both sides have a knack for producing high-stakes, action-packed matches, whether in bilateral series or major ICC tournaments.

These series provides an opportunity for both teams [South Africa and England] to showcase their white-ball prowess and build momentum ahead of future international events.

ODI Series Schedule :-

  • The tour kicks off with the ODI series, with the first match taking place on Tuesday, September 2nd. The series begins at Headingley in Leeds, with a day-night fixture scheduled for a 1:00 PM local start.

  • The action then shifts to the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London for the second ODI on Thursday, September 4th, also starting at 1:00 PM local time.

  • The third and final ODI will be played at The Rose Bowl in Southampton on Sunday, September 7th, with the match starting earlier at 11:00 AM local time.

T20I Series Schedule :-

England

  • Following the ODI leg, the focus will turn to the fast-paced T20I series. The first T20I will be hosted at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on Wednesday, September 10th, with a local start time of 6:30 PM.

  • The series then moves to the Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester for the second T20I on Friday, September 12th, another day-night contest starting at 6:30 PM local.

  • The tour ends with the third and final T20I at Trent Bridge in Nottingham on Sunday, September 14th, which will be an afternoon fixture with a start time of 2:30 PM local.
