FRI 11:13 PM IST, Aman Sehrawat just leading in the match against Cruz! He went down early after a takedown, but fought back strong, securing two takedowns of his own and a final point right before the buzzer. Aman 6 – 3 Cruz.

FRI 9:55 PM IST, The Indian golfers, Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar, are both in the lower half of the leaderboard after the third round. They are currently tied for 40th and 42nd respectively, having dropped significantly from their Day 2 positions. Their final round is tomorrow.


FRI 5:10 PM IST, Aman Sehrawat, the youngest freestyle wrestler in Paris, will fight for bronze tonight around 10:30pm. A win would see him join the ranks of Sushil Kumar, Yogeshwar Dutt, Bajrang Punia and Ravi Dahiya – all Olympic medalists who trained at Chhatrasal, the famed nursery of Indian wrestling.


FRI 4:28 PM IST, In Golf, Aditi Ashok has bogeyed the fourth hole, dropping her to T19 with a score of 1 over par. She’s now six strokes behind the medal contenders, making her medal hopes look increasingly difficult.

Diksha Dagar also bogeyed the fourth hole, bringing her down to T15 with a par score.


FRI 4:05 PM IST, India’s men’s 4×400 relay team moved up to fourth after Nigeria was disqualified, but their time wasn’t fast enough to qualify for the final.


FRI 2:45 PM IST, India’s men’s 4x400m relay team is looking to make another strong showing after reaching the World Championship final last year. Can they repeat that success on the Olympic stage?


FRI 2:36 PM IST, The Men’s 4x400m heats are underway! USA, Botswana, and Zambia are looking strong this season. India is up in the next heat.


FRI 2:33 PM IST, The Women’s 4x400m final is set for tomorrow night. Here are the teams who qualified, listed in order of fastest to slowest:

FRI 2:30 PM IST, Jamaica takes the win in the Women’s 4x400m with a time of 3:24.92, followed by the Netherlands and Ireland. India finished in last place at 3:32.51, almost six seconds behind Germany who came in seventh. Although India finished last in their heat, it’s worth noting that Cuba had a slower time overall.


FRI 2:26 PM IST, The Netherlands have just taken the lead in the women’s 4x400m, overtaking Ireland. Jamaica is close behind. India is trailing significantly.


FRI 2:20 PM IST, It’s India’s turn in the Women’s 4x400m relay! They’ll be in lane 2 with Vithya Ramraj, Jyothika Sri Dandi, Poovamma Raju and Subha Venkatesan.


FRI 2:13 PM IST, Next up are the men’s and women’s 4x400m relay heats. The women’s team faces a tough challenge to reach the final, but the men have a good chance. This will be an exciting race to watch!


FRI 1:19 PM IST, Vinesh Phogat’s CAS hearing has been delayed to 2PM Paris time (5:30 PM IST). The IOA has appointed Harish Salve and Vidushpat Singhania to argue the case, while the French team remains on Vinesh’s side.


FRI 12:53 PM IST, Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar will tee off later today, but while we wait, we’ll be following Vinesh Phogat’s hearing at the CAS, where she’s appealing for a silver medal. The Olympics is always full of action!
