Game-Changing Rules for ISPL 2026:
- Tip-Top Toss: A traditional gully-style toss where captains step heel-to-toe; the first to step on the other’s foot wins.
- 9 Street Runs: If a player hits a shot directly into the audience, the team is awarded 9 runs.
- Tape-Ball Overs: Two mandatory overs per innings must be bowled with a tape ball, adding extra bounce and swing.
- 50/50 Challenge: A high-stakes tactical move where teams predict a run target for an over to earn a 150% run bonus.
- Powerplays: Each match features a two-over mandatory powerplay at the start and a one-over “Batting Powerplay” that can be taken at any time by the batting side.
