The 13th edition of Indian Premier League is postponed until further notice, however there haven’t been talks about the cancellation of the Tournament. The coronavirus pandemic is reason behind such decision as the spread is still alarming . BCCI said in a statement that it will only happen once everyone is safe.

IPL-2020 was scheduled to being from 29th March but the tournament was postponed until 14th April after the Government of India(GOI) cancelled all the International flights till 14th April which has now been banned until 3rd May 2020 as for now.

It has been learned from the close sources that board is planning to schedule the tournament in October-November later this year. Apart from this Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has also proposed BCCI on hosting the tournament.

Well for now let’s pray for the goodwill and everyone’s safety.

Stay Home!! Happy Quarintine!!
