The ICC Under-19 World Cup has been a dream run till now for the Indian Youth Team, they are high on confidence and still unbeaten in the tournament with just one Final hurdle left between them and title. For India the key have been the balance of the side, with Yashashwi and Divyaansh they have the best openers till now who can make use of the power play with their eye-catching drives, in Garg they have a calm No.3, who is technically very sound. Bishnoi and Atharva have been in the best of their form since the start and lastly but most important the pace attack comprising Tyagi and Sushant. Both the pacers can clock over 140+ pushing the opposition to defensive mode right from the start.
India will now be facing the Bangladesh in the finals who have just edge New Zealand out of the tournament with some disciplined bowling. In the semi-finals they skittled out New Zealand for just 211 runs in 50 overs and that shows what their bowlers are capable of. For Bangladesh key will be Mahmudul Hasan Joy’s performance with the willow who is coming fresh of century against the Kiwis in the semi-finals. And in the bowling department Shoriful Islam and Hasan Musrad will have to keep on continuing the form with the ball.
Talking about U-19 World Cup, both team faced of in the 2016 edition where Ishan Kishan led side emerged as the winners. In the recent past India U-19 got the better against them in the Youth Asia Cup finals held last year.
