First ICC Cricket World Cup – It was held in England and Wales in 1975 which was won by the West Indies team. The Indian cricket team won the third edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup in 1983 and the 10th edition in 2011.
This will be the first time that the Cricket World Cup 2023 will be held entirely on Indian soil. in the last three editions 1987, 1996 and 2011; India shared the host with Pakistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh respectively.
But the World Cup to be held in 2023 will be completely organized by India and will be held on Indian grounds. That is, India will host the 13th edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2023 alone.
India was the first country to win the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011 as a host nation and Australia repeated the record in the 2015 Cricket World Cup. No host country had won the Cricket World Cup before India.
ICC World Cup 2023 Schedule -:
The ICC World Cup 2023 will be held in India from 14 October 2023 to 26 November 2023, and the semis will be on 23, 24. This tournament will be played in round-robin format. The venue for the final match is yet to be decided.

In 2022 the ICC Cricket World Cup will be held in Super League matches. Therefore a total of 10 teams will participate in the ICC World Cup 2023 and a total of 48 matches will be played in the World Cup 2023.
