The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the home international fixtures for the England men’s and women’s teams for the 2025 season. The schedule is packed with exciting matches, including a joint visit by West Indies men’s and women’s teams, as well as Tests against Zimbabwe and India.
The season commences on May 21 at the St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury, where England Women will take on West Indies in the first of three T20Is. This will be followed by three ODIs, marking the start of a thrilling summer of cricket. The men’s team will begin their international season with a four-day Test against Zimbabwe at Trent Bridge from May 22-25.
One of the highlights of the season is the joint visit by West Indies men’s and women’s teams. The men’s team will play three ODIs and three T20Is, while the women’s team will play three T20Is and three ODIs. This will be a fantastic opportunity for fans to watch both teams in action.
In June, England Men will take on India in a five-Test series, with the first Test scheduled at Headingley from June 20-24. The series will also feature back-to-back Tests at Edgbaston and Lord’s, as well as Old Trafford and The Oval. At the same time, England Women will take on India in five T20Is, followed by a three-match ODI series.
The Hundred is likely to take up much of August, but England Men’s international programme will conclude with six white-ball games against South Africa in September. The women’s team will also be in action, taking on India in a one-off Test match at Lord’s in 2026.

The ECB has confirmed that Lord’s will host its first women’s Test match when India returns in 2026. This is a significant milestone for women’s cricket, marking an important step forward in the growth of the game.
Richard Gould, ECB’s chief executive officer, expressed his excitement about the upcoming season. “Staging England Men’s and England Women’s series alongside each other has been popular with fans and supported the continued growth of the women’s game,” he said.
“I’m excited we’ll be doing the same again for the West Indies and India series next year. Cricket fans are in for a real treat, and I hope they’ll be out in force to support both men’s and women’s sides.”
