Bushfire Cricket Bash
After a terrible fire in the wilderness of Australia at the end of last year, a charity match is being organised. The bush fire charity match in Australia is to be played on 9 February at Melbourne’s Junction Oval ground. The Ten-Ten Over match was earlier scheduled to be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground on 8 February, but was shifted to Melbourne due to rain.  Cricket Australia chief Kevin Robert said, “We transferred the Bushfire Bash from Sydney because we want to do everything possible to get the final match of the Big Bash League on Saturday.” The Bushfire Cricket Bash in Australia needs your support as well. About the Two Teams of Australia
The captains of the teams participating in the bushfire cricket match were former cricketers Ricky Ponting and Shane Warne. But Warne, Michael Hussey and Michael Clarke will not be able to participate due to the already planned events. In the absence of Warne, former Australian Wicket-Keeper batsman Adam Gilchrist will captain a team. Australian Test team captain Tim Paine will be the caretaker coach of Adam’s Team. While Ricky Ponting’s team will be headed by former Cricket Stalwart Sachin Tendulkar.
Former Pakistan player Wasim Akram, former West Indies explosive batsman Brian Lara, Courtney Walsh will also take part in the bushfire charity cricket match. The profits from the match will be paid to Australia’s Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund. It is noteworthy that 33 people were killed and thousands of houses were damaged due to forest fire.
