There has been a big update on the fitness of Team India’s star wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant, who was a victim of a car accident. Pant is recovering very fast, which is a good sign for the Indian team. Earlier this year, Pant met with a horrific car accident while going from Delhi to Dehradun, after which he had to undergo surgery.
In fact, there were a lot of rumors about Rishabh Pant that the Indian wicket-keeper batsman had to undergo several surgeries. However, a BCCI source while talking to Times of India has denied all such things. They said, “Let me make it clear that Pant has never had multiple surgeries, as has been rumored all around. He is being examined every two weeks. Happily, he is recovering faster than expected. It’s a big boost recovery for him. It means he could make a comeback sooner than expected.”
The BCCI source further said, “He seems to be in a very good condition now. He is now able to walk for a long time without crutches. His rehab process is now more focused on strengthening. He will be back training on the field soon.”
