Namibia made history by beating South Africa for the first time in a Twenty20 International (T20I) match. It was a very close game that went down to the very last ball, with Namibia winning by four wickets. This big victory happened at the newly opened Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek.
South Africa won the coin toss and decided to bat first. However, they struggled on the slow pitch. The Namibian bowlers kept the pressure on, taking wickets at regular times.

Even though the South African team had some experienced players, they could only score 134 runs for 8 wickets in their 20 overs.
South Africa Batters: Jason Smith was the top scorer with 31 runs (from 30 balls). Rubin Hermann scored 23 runs (from 18 balls).
Namibia Bowlers: Left-arm bowler Ruben Trumpelmann was excellent, taking 3 wickets for 28 runs. Max Heingo also did well with 2 wickets for 32 runs.
Chasing 135 runs for the win, Namibia also found it difficult to score easily, and they kept losing wickets. Their score was 101 runs for 6 wickets in the 17th over, and it looked like they might lose.

Namibia Batters: Captain Gerhard Erasmus made a steady 21 runs (from 21 balls).
South Africa Bowlers: Nandre Burger took 2 wickets for 21 runs, and Andile Simelane also took 2 wickets for 28 runs.

But wicketkeeper Zane Green then played a brilliant final innings. He stayed calm and hit a six and a four in the last few balls to take his team to victory on the very last ball of the game! Zane Green finished on a match-winning 30 not out (from 23 balls), helped by Ruben Trumpelmann who scored 11 not out (from 8 balls) at the end.
This amazing win was very special for the Namibian team and their fans. Ruben Trumpelmann was named the Player of the Match for his great bowling performance.
