Excitement is building as the International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the schedule for the much-anticipated ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This announcement follows extensive discussions among cricket boards, particularly due to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) deciding not to send Team India to Pakistan.
In light of this, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also rejected a hybrid hosting model for the tournament. However, a mutual agreement ensures that all India vs. Pakistan matches during ICC events will be held at neutral venues until 2027.
Dubai has been selected as the host city for the Champions Trophy, which kicks off on February 19, 2025, with Pakistan taking on New Zealand in Karachi. One of the highlights of the tournament will be the match between India and Pakistan, scheduled for February 23 at the iconic Dubai International Stadium.
