The accident occurred when Musheer was traveling in a Fortuner car with his father, Nausheh Khan, and other family members. Musheer Khan had recently returned from the Dilip Trophy, where he had played a few matches. His team, Mumbai, was scheduled to arrive in Lucknow yesterday evening but Musheer decided to travel separately with his family.

Musheer Khan, was admitted to Medanta Hospital’s emergency department on September 27, 2024, at 8:00 PM, following a road accident on the Purvachal Expressway. He is being treated by Dr. Dharmendra Singh, Director of Orthopedics Department, for neck pain. His condition remains stable and he is out of danger.
