Another player who impressed was Shubman Gill, who made his debut as captain in the T20 format following Rohit Sharma’s retirement and Hardik Pandya’s absence. Gill’s leadership skills and tactics were impeccable, and his ability to read the game well helped Team India seal the series.

However, there were also some disappointing performances, particularly from Abhishek Sharma. The all-rounder managed to take only two wickets in all 5 matches, leaving many questioning his selection as an all-rounder. Despite these flops, India’s tour of Zimbabwe was largely successful, with the team winning the T20 series 4-1. Washington Sundar’s impressive performance and Shubman Gill’s leadership skills were key factors in Team India’s success.
