Tom Cooper played a crucial role for the Netherlands in the total 41 international games he played, including ODI’s and T20I’s. He was a part of the Netherlands’ national squad for the 2011 World Cup and 2 consecutive T-20 World Cups in 2014 and 2016. Since then, Cooper failed to make it to the national side.
The 35-year-old batter was earlier excluded from South Australia’s contract list after a terrible performance but later got picked up by Brisbane Heat where he got to play 7 games in the Big Bash League 2021-22 where his performance was not up to the mark. Cooper made it to the side after the Netherlands saw the retirements of three senior players- Ryan ten Doeschate, Ben Cooper and Stephan Myburgh.
