After this he was out of the Test match and Jasprit Bumrah was made the captain of the Indian Test team in his place. Rohit Sharma seems fit now and looks set to captain the three-match T20I series against England, which begins on July 7. After this T20 series, a three-match ODI series will be played.

After this Test match of India, a series of three T20 matches is to be played against England, whose first match is to be played on 7 July, the second match on 9 July and then the third match on 10 July. After this, the first match of the three-match ODI series will be played on July 12, the second match on July 14 and then the third match on July 17.
