Team India captain Rohit Sharma has recovered from Covid-19 and he has joined the Indian cricket team at Edgbaston during the only Test match against England. Rohit Sharma was found to be Covid positive during the four-day warm-up match played against Leicestershire.

After this he was out of the Test match and Jasprit Bumrah was made the captain of the Indian Test team in his place. Rohit Sharma seems fit now and looks set to captain the three-match T20I series against England, which begins on July 7. After this T20 series, a three-match ODI series will be played.

Rohit Sharma has not only joined the team but he has also started practicing. After this Test match of India, a series of three T20 matches is to be played against England, whose first match is to be played on 7 July, the second match on 9 July and then the third match on 10 July. After this, the first match of the three-match ODI series will be played on July 12, the second match on July 14 and then the third match on July 17. Team India will be captained by Rohit Sharma in all these matches.

The Indian team has been announced for the T20 and ODI series against England. In the first T20, Rohit will be the captain of the team, while in the second T20 match, senior players like Virat Kohli, Bumrah will return. Due to the return of all these legends, players like Sanju Samson will be rested from the T20 team. At the same time, Shikhar Dhawan has returned in the ODI team.
