Simon Katich quit Sunrisers Hyderabad less than two months before the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League, according to reports.
As per a report in ‘The Australian’, Simon Katich decided to walk out after a disagreement on the issue of team management and Simon Katich also felt that the franchise disregarded the pre-auction plans. Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad was involved in a major controversy after they removed David Warner from captaincy last season and then he was not included even in the playing XI. Since last season, Trevor Bayliss and Brad Haddin have also resigned as coaches.
For the 15th edition of the IPL season, former Australia player Tom Moody would be the head coach of the franchise and he had brought Simon Katich on board as the assistant coach.
Kane Williamson will be leading the side in IPL 2022.
