Australian all rounder James Faulkner, who played for Quetta Gladiators in the ongoing Pakistan Super League’s has immediately left the tournament midway, stating that his contractual demands were not fulfilled.
He has been handed over a life ban from the league, after he withdrew his name from the midway of the tournament, claiming that Quetta Gladiators franchise and the Pakistan cricket board are not honouring a contractual agreement.
James Faulkner apologized to the cricket fans for withdrawing his name from the tournament.
“I apologize to the Pakistan cricket fans. But unfortunately, I’ve had to withdraw from the last two matches and leave the PSL due to the PCB not honoring my contractual agreements/payments,” Faulkner tweeted.
“I’ve been here the whole duration and they have continued to lie to me,” he added.
The PSL committee and the Pakistan cricket board termed his allegations ‘baseless’ and false , and handed over him a life time ban in the PSL.
