Sunil Gavaskar has scored the most number of runs at the opening striker end as the Indian batter has scored 9607 runs in 203 innings having 33 centuries under his name with an average of 50.30.

At No.2 batting position

Alastair Cook has scored the most number of runs at the opening batting position. He scored 11,845 runs in 278 innings having 31 centuries with an average of 44.87.

At No.3 batting position

At this position, the Sri Lankan batter Kumar Sangakkara scored 11,679 in 207 innings with an average of 60.83 which includes 37 centuries in total which is really impressive.

At No.4 batting position

The master blaster Sachin Tendulkar is the top most scorer at the 4th position as he scored 13,492 runs with an average of 54.40 which includes 44 centuries in total.

At No. 5 batting position

The West Indian S. Chanderpaul, the man having an unorthodox batting stance has scored the most amount of runs at the no.5th batting position as 6883 runs came from his bat including 19 centuries with an average of 56.42.

At No. 6 batting position

Australian batter S. Waugh scored 3165 runs including 6 centuries with an average of 51.05 in just 79 innings.

Another Australian batter, this time he’s Adam Gilchrist as he scored 3948 runs in 100 innings with an average of 46.45 including 12 centuries.

Again the English bowling all rounder Stuart Broad is the one who scored the most runs at the no.10 batting position as he scored 786 runs in 79 innings.

The New Zealand fast pacer Trent boult scored most runs at the last batting position as he scored about 640 runs in 79 innings.
